General Terms and Conditions (GTC)
1. Scope
These terms apply to all contracts between Umzug 4 Wien and the customer concerning furniture moving, furniture assembly/disassembly, furniture disposal, and warehouse / household clearances.
2. Offer and Conclusion of Contract
Offers are subject to change unless expressly designated as binding. The contract is concluded by written or oral order confirmation or by commencement of the service. Amounts calculated online via the price calculator are non-binding estimates.
3. Prices and Payment
The agreed prices apply plus statutory VAT. Additional services (e.g. longer carrying distances, no-stopping zones, additional floors, waiting times) are charged according to effort. Unless otherwise agreed, payment is due immediately after the service is rendered.
4. Client's Obligations to Cooperate
The Client ensures free access, sufficient parking and, if necessary, official permits (e.g. no-stopping zone). Fragile or particularly valuable items must be declared in advance.
5. Liability
The Contractor is liable for damage demonstrably caused by it within the framework of the statutory provisions. For transport damage, the liability provisions in accordance with the statutory regulations apply (in particular the CMR for cross-border transport). Visible damage must be inspected immediately upon handover.
6. Cancellation
Free cancellation is possible before the agreed date.
7. Warranty
The statutory warranty provisions under Austrian law apply.
8. Place of Jurisdiction and Applicable Law
Austrian law applies, excluding the reference norms. The place of jurisdiction is the competent court in Vienna, as far as legally permissible. Consumer jurisdictions remain unaffected.
